 | Mauro Luigi Drago was born in 1983. His interests for Computer Science started early at the age of eleven, when he learned his first programming language (Basic) with the goal of writing his own video game. Soon his passion evolved and he started learning and programming both in high level OO languages such as C/C++ and low level ones like Assembly. When he realized that programming languages were not enough to write good software, he also got interested in Software Engineering and he started reading books about design, modeling and management (his personal bible is still the old the Gang Of Four Design Pattern book). After the high school he joined Politecnico di Milano and in 2008 he got his Master Degree in Computer Engineering. Now he is a Phd Student at Politecnico di Milano. His interest spawn from Climbing and Mountains (in the spare time) to Model Driven Engineering and, specifically, on how the design process may be automated and on tools to bring MDE to the great public. However, he did not abandon his old passion for programming languages which, for example, made him recently discover the beauties of C#. | |
